Pernilla Barkman nominated as Veho Board Member

Veho is pleased to announce the appointment of Pernilla Barkman to its Board of Directors. Barkman brings a wealth of experience in e-commerce and digital transformation to the company, having worked in leadership roles at some of the most successful e-commerce companies in the Nordic region.

For the past three years, Barkman has served as the Global Head of E-commerce for Dometic, a global market leader in the mobile living industry. During this time, she was responsible for building up e-commerce globally and leading global operations for B2C e-commerce, B2B e-commerce, and marketplaces & e-tailers. In March of this year, Barkman started working as Group CEO for Growers Group, a leading Nordic e-commerce player within gardening and horticulture products.

Pernilla Barkman has a Master's degree in Science in Business and Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Law from Uppsala University. With over 15 years of experience in digital transformation, building digital consumer products, and within e-commerce, Barkman has a proven track record of success in this field. Prior to joining Dometic and Growers Group, she worked as the CEO for Eleven and Nordicfeel, two digital retailers that merged and became one of the top three largest e-commerce players within beauty in the Nordics. Barkman also spent 9 years in various leading positions at Schibsted Media Group, including as CEO of Schibsted Lifestyle Online, leading the digitalization of Aftonbladets Feature, and building brands such as the marketplace Blocket and search site hitta.se.
