At Veho, sustainability is part of everyday decision‑making, not a separate initiative. In 2025, this approach delivered measurable progress across emissions, electrification, energy efficiency and people‑related performance throughout the Group.
We reduced emissions from our own operations by 70% compared to the 2021 baseline, exceeding our annual reduction target. Electrification continued to accelerate across cars, vans and commercial vehicles, while investments in energy‑efficient facilities and renewable energy further strengthened our environmental performance. At the same time, continued Great Place to Work certifications in four countries highlight our strong focus on people, safety and well‑being.
“Sustainability is part of how we plan, operate and develop our business. The progress achieved shows what long‑term commitment and everyday actions can deliver,” says Juha Ruotsalainen.
2025 also marked a milestone in how Veho reports sustainability. The Group’s sustainability reporting was, for the first time, prepared in line with the EU’s voluntary VSME standard – supporting a structured transition towards future CSRD requirements – and independently assured by AKL Sertifiointi.
Looking ahead, we will continue year‑by‑year emission reductions, with growing focus on vehicle‑related emissions, value‑chain CO₂ calculations and data‑driven sustainability management across all markets.
