’I always wanted to work with people and make every effort for their sake’, - tells Evelina Rudinskytė, Human Resources Specialist at UAB Veho. Having been with the company since 2015, Evelina has gained a diverse experience, because she had a chance to test herself in quite different areas. Thanks to her desire and aspiration to delve into the processes, that take place in the company, the employee was able to expand her knowledge luggage in various spheres.

’While studying Business Administration, I realised that I want to work in the field of customer service or of human resources. In 2015, I found a job advertisement offering to take up the position of administrator at Mercedes-Benz. I decided to apply for the position and soon became part of this large company. While working in the field of customer service for the first 3 years of my employment with the company, I tried to help my colleagues with all matters. And all of my efforts have not gone unnoticed - I was offered to take up the position of accountant. My positive answer was influenced by my curiosity and desire to try something new and to delve into the processes, that take place in the company, from ’the inside’.’

’But I did not stop here either. While performing the functions of an accountant, I had to encounter, on work-related issues, the activities of the Personnel Department. Whenever the opportunity arose, I tried to help the colleagues working in this department. I was also independently interested in the activities of the department and expanded my knowledge luggage. In 2019, when the Finnish Veho Group acquired UAB Silberauto, and when major changes were taking place, I was offered to join the Personnel Department, and I gladly accepted this offer. I knew that a lot of challenges are awaiting ahead, but I was already ready for that. Because, if not now, then when? Change of the processes in the company and turnover of personnel, the pandemic period - all this posed a very big challenge after I started working in the Personnel Department. However, all of these things gave me useful practical experience and resulted in the formation of a stronger character of mine’.

There are currently three colleagues in the Personnel Department. Evelina has a great relationship with the head of Human Resources and is responsible for administration of smooth operation of the Personnel Department, for bringing together motivated and competent employees and for their retention, for effective involvement of the employees in work, and for purification of their responsibilities. Evelina also participates in various joint international projects of Veho Group.

While working in the Personnel Department, Evelina considers the employees of Veho Group as highly interested in achieving results and common goals. The colleagues from all countries are very friendly, they tend to help, and they are professionals in their fields. ’Thanks to a smooth teamwork, help from the colleagues and a high level of the employee motivation, the company can climb up in the car business’.
