“I'm excited to be part of Veho due to its dedication to excellence and innovation in the automotive industry. The company's values resonate with mine. I really feel like I have entered the Veho family and I'm eager to contribute to the company’s growth and impact,” Irma says. “Meeting other managers face to face right from the start, knowing your colleagues, and communicating openly is really valuable.”
As Head of Commercial Vehicles in Lithuania, Irma aims to lead a high-performing team and drive growth and innovation for Veho. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional results and making a positive difference in the organization. “The opportunity to make a meaningful contribution every day inspires me to start every day with enthusiasm,” she smiles.
“My journey in the professional world has been diverse and fulfilling,” Irma says. Her parents hoped she’d become a dentist, but Irma wanted something else. She has degrees from ISM University of Management and Economics in Vilnius and BI Norwegian School of Management, and an impressive record in management in telecommunications, banking, and automotive sectors. Irma says that positions from different fields have taught her valuable things. “In telecommunications, I learned about people, how people create the results, and how you must take good care of people. In banking, I learned more about processes, another important part of management. In the automotive industry as a department manager and then as sales department manager, I learned a lot about total business management and marketing.”
Irma believes that people are the key to success in any industry. She shares an example of channeling her and her team’s energy into growing the brand position and sales. “A memorable moment for me was leading the Jaguar Land Rover business at Inchcape Motors. Despite challenges, we achieved Gross Profit and Sales growth by over 30 percent and raised the bar for customer satisfaction in Lithuania.”
The future for commercial vehicles seems positive to Irma, especially with Veho’s leadership. “I see that Veho’s leadership is inspiring and forward-thinking. I am excited to drive growth and innovation in this dynamic industry. We prioritize employee development and customer satisfaction, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Transparency and openness with warm professional people are excellent ingredients!”
Outside of work, energetic Irma enjoys sports, reading, and listening to business podcasts. “I'm also an avid tennis player and skier, and I've recently taken up kiting, which has been an exhilarating new challenge,” Irma says and adds that she is also currently studying psychotherapy and has three grandchildren.
Irma describes her management style as empowering people. She loves to see her team develop as professionals. “I would say that for me it is so important balancing trust with accountability, strategic thinking with attention to detail, and building a positive culture grounded in honesty and consistency.”
