Story of my career – I would really like to tell it in a short way but as I start to think about it from the beginning – it is hard to do. I tried myself in various fields and I always accepted even smallest challenges or proposals which occurred in my career. Everything started with Opel, then followed being Chrysler, Jeep and Mercedes-Benz salesman.

Could you tell about your career path?

Story of my career – I would really like to tell it in a short way but as I start to think about it from the beginning – it is hard to do. I tried myself in various fields and I always accepted even smallest challenges or proposals which occurred in my career. Everything started with Opel, then followed being Chrysler, Jeep and Mercedes-Benz salesman. I worked as Mercedes-Benz salesman for 3 years and then I had to change my direction and try my strength in other field which has nothing to do with cars. Luckily I was asked to come back for Mercedes-Benz 24h Service and later Marketing department advisor and shortly after that I got a proposal to take over the leading position of the Marketing department. It was a successful experience, but I always felt that my heart has to be in sales and I always felt the need to create something where I could realize myself and do what would give me joy and pleasure. On my own initiative, I had the opportunity to create and implement Mercedes-Benz used car business, what I still do, and I enjoy it every day. The start was difficult and from 80 to 100 cars a year, it became a significant part of Mercedes-Benz Used car business and also a part of VEHO's business.

After you joined Veho Lietuva Certified business, used cars sales doubled in a year. How did you do that?

After joining VEHO and starting to work with new managers of the company, it was immediately clear that there would be a lot of support and understanding for the business. So within one year with VEHO Lithuania we managed to achieve incredible results, from 240 units in 2020, we reached 514 units in 2021, so the results doubled.

This has been achieved by transforming the entire business from the ground and thanks to the entire team that works with the used cars. By writing and inventing a whole new process for used cars, creating and formulating a new whole MBC department and team. VEHO Lietuva Used Cars is now a large department with purchase, sales, sales support sections, with newly described processes and functions for each section and communication between other departments.

Why do you like to work in Veho Lietuva?

VEHO is a company with its own long-term goal. It is a company that has chosen a “green” path / direction and employs strong, young people who understand each other's field. It is also an open, secure and transparent business and a company that provides trust and guarantees and is constantly striving to improve and respond to the environment much faster than its competitors. I like it all together and I am proud to be a part of VEHO.

What is the most interesting story you remember from your career?

When working in the sales business and the ever-changing events in the market or the world, there are a lot of interesting things so the work is very non-monotonous. I can proudly say that the most exciting period of my career is now. 

How do you see the future of Mercedes-Benz Certified business?

Personally, I see the future of the UC business as very bright, I envision an exceptional used car business that provides its customers the highest level of service and is no longer inferior to new car sales businesses. MBC's business is more flexible and can be more "hooligan", which does not limit our ability to grow at all and there is no ceiling to the growth of our business. We have areas where we work and are looking for a variety of ways to expand our business, including the sale of used VANS and TRUCKS, as well as improving the car business, innovating and moving forward with technology to offer our customers the most convenient and attractional access to used cars. So I believe a very exciting path awaits in the further development of the MBC business.
