Career stories, Sweden

Sanne Titi, mother of Jack and like so many others, an avid paddle player, works as an OTD (Order To Deliver) Administrator on the vans side at the head office in Stockholm, which she has done since 2010. But the journey within Veho Bil began already in 2008 and then in the sales department. A journey that also meant a completely new step in her career, she previously worked in the media industry as a production manager.

“A friend of mine suggested that Veho Bil was looking for a salesperson. So I applied, and that's the way it is. I have always loved cars and Mercedes is my favorite brand, so it was obvious to apply. I like challenges, and it was really a challenge, a whole new industry. Today, I work in the delivery department with a focus on Mercedes-Benz vans. ”

Working in the OTD department for vans vehicles differs a lot from the private car side. "It is a more complex product to work with and requires a different skill set," says Sanne. Everything from constructions, transport bookings between locations and updates of stock lists. One day is not the same as the other. And when asked what’s the most fun task, the answer is: “The entirety”.

From the sales department to administration on the transport side

The passion for cars in general and Mercedes-Benz in particular, as well as the colleagues at Veho Bil, made Sanne look further internally when she felt that the role as a salesperson did not turn out as she had hoped. Working with administration, a lot of personal responsibility and being able to work in a fantastic team has made Sanne find a balance in both working life and here with us at Veho Bil.

“I have a lot of responsibility and have to make my own decisions, which I think is fun. There have been many varied tasks over the years and a consistent development." For a future colleague, qualities such as organized, stress-resistant, a team player and having an interest in the product are important.

So, what is it like to work at Veho Bil? Well, "A safe and fun workplace with mixed ages." And in the administration department, it is “an accepting atmosphere and we are a good team that complements each other." To put it simply: “A Great Place To Work” at.

Sanne thinks it is incredibly exciting times right now to be involved in the car industry when electrification takes off and goes from fossil fuels to electricity, and to you as a future colleague, she says: “welcome home!”
